After landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Set against the backdrop of Mount Meru, Arusha is a lively gateway town where coffee plantations, fresh mountain air, and African hospitality await.

Spend the afternoon at leisure — relax by the pool, enjoy a freshly brewed Tanzanian coffee, or take a short tour of the local markets if time allows. Your guide will brief you on the upcoming adventure before you enjoy dinner and a peaceful night.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, often called Tanzania’s most underrated wildlife haven. The park is famed for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and predator sightings — especially during the dry season.

Enjoy an unhurried game drive along the Tarangire River and through the Silale Swamp, where lions, giraffes, wildebeests, and over 550 bird species can be found. As the golden light fades, head to your accommodation nestled just outside the park.
